“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how will you contend with the horses?” Jeremiah 12:5

Jeremiah faced many obstacles in his own hometown, from friends and family alike. When questioning God about how long the wicked will prosper, the Lord responds with the above verse. He was showing Jeremiah that the obstacles he faced in his own hometown were meager compared to what was coming. 

What a sobering reality for us. If we have been wearied by the footmen, our day to day struggles, how are we going to handle the horses that are coming our way? God is preparing His Bride for His final hour. We will be challenged like never before to find our voices, know our identity and stand in truth.

God is looking to His people to be a voice in the wilderness today, ushering in truth in a time of great deception. His call to all of us is to prepare the way of the Lord.
